I have been working this week on the blocks for my sister J's quilt. This block has 16 pieces! I am used to patterns with a little more instant gratification. But I got a large dose this evening when I laid out the first 9 blocks! I was so worried about how the fabrics I got would look together, but I am very pleased with it! This quilt is going to be big, 30 blocks and a 4 inch border! I hope I can get the rest of the blocks together tomorrow. I bet I can because the other 21 are in 3 big sections that just need to be zipped together. Piece of cake! Now I just need to think of a name.....
